Cunningham joins CableLAN Nuclear

July 25, 2016 – Fort Myers, FL – CableLAN Nuclear is happy to announce that Lawrence Cunningham has joined the company as Director of Technology. This is a new position at CableLAN Nuclear.

He has more than 20 years experience in wire and cable. For the past several years, while at General Cable, he served as Global Sales Manager – Nuclear Products, working with customers in the USA, South Korea and China. Prior to that, he served as Manager – Special Projects.

In making the announcement, Jan Pirrong, Nuclear’s president, said:

“Larry joins us with many years of experience in engineering, quality assurance and sales at a number of wire and cable companies. Besides his recent experience at General Cable, he has also worked at other suppliers of nuclear power cabling, including fiber optic cables and electrical control, power, instrumentation and communication cables. As we know, successfully supplying nuclear power plant products requires superior technology and experience. Larry fills both requirements.

“At CableLAN Nuclear, he is responsible for engineering and quality of products we sell to nuclear plants. He will work closely with our suppliers of electrical and fiber optic cable, cable assemblies, patch panels and related items, to continue our reputation for innovation and quality assurance. He will also be responsible for supporting our customers in the selection of suitable products for their power plants. Finally, he’ll also continue his work with nuclear qualification related IEEE committees.
